Lavesh Kirpalani and Thomas Yeon served as tutors at the Hong Kong Institute of Arbitrators’ October 2026 Associate Entry Course. Over the intensive 1.5-day programme held on 23-24 October, candidates immersed themselves in the core principles of commercial arbitration under the Hong Kong Arbitration Ordinance (Cap 609), covering everything from tribunal constitution to the enforcement of arbitral awards.
Lavesh and Thomas delivered seminars on the legal structure of arbitration under the New York Convention and Model Law and pre-arbitration considerations.
Many thanks to Louise Barrington for the generous invitation and leadership through the course. Prince’s Chambers extends its warm congratulations to all the participants on completing the programme.
