Julian grew up in Hong Kong and was educated at German Swiss International School before going to Charterhouse in England. Julian went on to Brasenose College, University of Oxford, first obtaining a degree in Physics before completing a second degree in Jurisprudence.

Julian enjoys a broad civil practice including experience in commercial and company law, employment law, matrimonial law and ancillary relief, conveyancing, land disputes and building management, probate and trusts.
