As a barrister, arbitrator, and professor, Olga has established herself as a recognised practitioner in international arbitration, and also as a dedicated mentor to aspiring arbitration lawyers navigating an increasingly complex profession. Recent activities include delivering as Research Fellow at Asian Academy of International Law (AAIL) the module ‘Treaty Planning in Investment Arbitration’ as part of the 2026 Hong Kong Advanced Training Programme on International Law Practice; delivering the Tribunal Secretary Course at the Asian Institute of Alternative Dispute Resolution; and delivering a seminar ‘Inside the Tribunal: What does a Tribunal Secretary really do? with HKIAC and CIArb Kenya.
Olga currently teaches at The University of Hong Kong, where she contributes to a Master of Laws programme focused on arbitration and alternative dispute resolution, with a particular emphasis on Belt & Road investment law. In addition, she serves as a professor at the Royal University of Law and Economics in Phnom Penh, where she has for many years delivered specialised courses in international investment law as part of a dual degree programme with the Free University of Brussels.
Olga’s focus on equipping young practitioners with the tools they need to succeed reflects her commitment to widening access and fostering diversity within the field. As a long-standing editor of the Investor-State Law Guide, she also plays a role in curating and disseminating knowledge that supports both practitioners and academics worldwide.
