Edward Alder, as Vice President of Hong Kong Maritime Arbitration Group (HKMAG) and a member of Prince’s Chambers, joined industry experts and legal professionals at a seminar held in collaboration with the Guangzhou Arbitration Commission in Guangzhou on Friday 3 July 2026.

Edward presented on current developments and critical issues in international commercial and maritime arbitration, comparing 2026 amendments to the PRC Arbitration Law and Maritime Code with Hong Kong and English law. 

 The Symposium took place at the Commission and featured presentations and insights from other HKMAG members including Sam Tsui, Philip Yang and Danny Mok, along with Zheng Biao, John Wang and Dr An Shouzhi.
